Do we require masks for guests? For staff?

Yes, currently we do require all guests wear PPE while dining at Buckley’s. While entering, exiting, and moving about the restaurant you are required to wear your mask. You are required to wear your mask during all interactions with our service staff. Otherwise, while seated at your table you are welcome to remove and stow your mask. All staff will be required to wear masks as part of their uniform. We appreciate your understanding.

What are our current hours/menus?

We look forward to returning to our regular hours; but for now we are only open Wednesday through Sunday with service as follows:

Wednesday-Saturday 4pm-9pm - Full menu available for takeout or dine in and takeout orders accepted daily at 2pm

Sunday 10am-3pm - Brunch menu available for takeout or dine in

Do we require reservations?

We are requiring reservations for all dine in & patio experiences. At this time reservation times are extremely limited as we figure out the best way to make the most of limited table inventory and allow for extra time between to clean and sanitize spaces.

If weather permits, we will ONLY be seating outside.

In the case of inclement weather, we will move guests inside.

All guests will be notified at the time of their reservation about the updated policies of the restaurant and cancellation policy.

Is the bar open?

The bar will be made up of three high tops that will be the bartender’s section.  There will not be any seating at the bar itself, and all drink orders will need to be placed at your table through your assigned server.  We will be accepting reservations for the high-tops in the bar.

Are we allowing walk ins?

No, we are requiring that all guests make reservations ahead of their dining experience with us. If you are planning on dining with us please go online and check what times are available and book your table on your way.

How does the brand new HVAC system keep me safe?

As part of our large construction project, completed in 2019, we completely redesigned and replaced all of our HVAC equipment. We definitely shot for the moon on the new system. What this means for you, and what is most important to people right now, is that we have a top of the line system that performs a full fresh air exchange on a room per room basis every 3-4 minutes.

I hear there is a new phone system? How does it work?

If you haven’t called to hear our new digital receptionist, you should. We have set up some automated options to help direct to you to where you need to go. This allows for guests to get the answers they need quickly with limited staff phone time.

How long has Buckley’s been open?

We opened our doors in February of 2007.

What are your hours?

We hope to return to being open seven days a week. For specific hours, check out the Hours & Location tab. We are regularly closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas so that our staff can enjoy the holidays with their families.

How often does your menu change?

We change our menu seasonally by switching out a few things here and there.

What kind of food do you serve?

Our menu is heavily influenced by what fresh ingredients are available, with that said we aren’t afraid to pull ideas and components from all over the globe.

What happened to that dish that I love?

We regularly rotate our menu items, which means some items have to go in order to put new items on.

Do you sell whole cakes? 

Heck yeah we do!! Check our desserts page for information.

Do you have a private event space?

We sure do! Not only do we have a private dining room on our second floor that can accommodate up to 32 guests, we also have a private bakery that provides a unique setting for an intimate dinner or cocktail reception. Have a larger group and an interest in a bigger space? Let’s talk about it! Select the Private Events tab to view photos and fill out an inquiry. Our event coordinator will get back to you with options for an unforgettable private event.

How large of a party can I make a reservation for?

The largest group we can seat for regular service is a party of 8 people. For groups larger than that we suggest you look into booking one of our private dining rooms.

What was that delicious “House Wine” the bartender offered me?

Lucky you! That was the one and only Fernet Branca!

Do you have vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten free options?

We do have a number of items on the menu that fit most diets, our incredibly competent service staff can help walk you through what your options are for any diets or food allergies.

Do I really need to make a reservation or can I just come in?

We fill up quickly so a reservation is always recommended. We do have our bar area that is available on a first come, first served basis. To make a reservation for a group of 1 -4, select the Reservations tab. Have a party of five or more? Call us at 414-277-1111 to book directly with a host.

Where can I park when I come to Buckley’s?

There is ample metered street parking around the restaurant, on both Cass Street and Wells Street.
